SMART stands for Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique. Dr. Knabe is a certified SMART provider through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, equipping her to reduce environmental and bodily exposure to mercury during removal of silver mercury "amalgam" fillings.
